2020 Pick Your Own Strawberry Information

The safety of our guests and staff members remains the top priority at Verrill Farm. In light of this, we are making some Covid-19 changes to the pick your own process this year. It is our full expectation that with these changes that we can provide a safe and enjoyable picking environment for everyone.

Pick your own strawberries will be open daily at 8AM while in season. Picking conditions can change based on the weather and picking activity. Please check our website or call for picking conditions before visiting.

Strawberry Picking Pricing:

New this year: All strawberry pickers over the age of 5 will be required to purchase a $7 field pass to enter the strawberry field.

  • Each field pass entitles the holder a single quart container (about 1.75 lbs) of pick your own strawberries as well as entrance to the field. After purchasing your field pass, additional individual pick your own quarts will be priced at $5 per quart.
  • To guarantee admission into the fields on a given day, you must purchase passes online! Walk in sales will be permitted only if the field capacity and crop conditions allow.
  • Online passes for the following day will be released each afternoon around 5PM once we have a chance to check the field conditions for the next day.

This will help us to better manage the number of people in the field on any given day.

Verrill Farm pre-picked berries will be sold at the farm stand for $7.99 per quart when available.

The pick your own strawberry fields are open daily beginning at 8AM. We will post the hours for the next day each day at 5PM. Picking conditions can change based on the weather and picking activity. Please check our website or call for picking conditions before visiting.
