Strawberry picking season in New England is often one of the most popular times to visit the farm. Each spring, thousands of visitors from the Greater Boston area come to our Concord fields to enjoy pick your own strawberries. Grown on over five acres of beds, Verrill Farm offers a fantastic pick your own strawberry experience to our visitors. Strawberry picking season at the farm usually kicks off during our annual Strawberry Festival which celebrates the beginning of summer and the harvest of one of our favorite fruits! If you are short on time, Verrill Farm strawberries are also sold in the farm stand while in season.
After your finish picking your fresh strawberries, be sure to stop by the farm bakery and try one of our famous homemade strawberry rhubarb pies and some homemade biscuits for your strawberry shortcake!
