Our farm stand, located right in front of our fields in Concord, MA is open year round, seven days per week with the exception of a few holidays. The farm stand features some of the freshest and best tasting fruits and produce in the Greater Boston area, much of which is sustainably grown right here in our local fields. In addition to an excellent fruit and vegetable selection, the farm stand also features a wide selection of artisanal foods, products and grocery items that are produced within our local community. Our farm bakery has become a staple at the farm stand over the years. We began with humble beginnings, selling homemade pies made from scratch out of our roadside tent. Although the farm stand offers a few more amenities than the original tent did, our commitment to the best ingredients & baked goods always made from scratch remains exactly the same! In addition to fruit pies, our bakery menu has expanded to offer a wide variety of cakes, cheesecakes, mousse, fruit tarts, brownies & bars, crostatas, cupcakes, scones, muffins, cookies & more! The chefs in the Verrill Farm kitchen prepare some of the finest meals, sides and salads on a daily basis. Our kitchen uses only the best and freshest ingredients, often harvested directly from our fields to deliver the great tasting meals that our customers have come to expect and enjoy. With specials changing daily and seasonally, the Verrill Farm kitchen will help to keep your menu flavorful throughout all of the seasons. Stop by our deli to pick up a delicious sandwich, wrap or panini. The Verrill Farm deli menu features Boar’s Head meats & cheese as well as housemade condiments and Verrill Farm grown produce when in season. With a rotating menu of hot & cold sandwiches and wraps, daily soup specials and made to order salads, the deli is the perfect stop for a great meal. Customers are now welcome to call in your order ahead of time or order online to save time at pick up!
Farm Greenhouse
Visit our heated greenhouse throughout the different seasons to watch Verrill Farm flowers & plants being grown. During the late winter months, our greenhouse is filled up with seedlings for the farm and the first microgreens of the season. As the season progresses, you will find flowers for our cutting garden and our own collection of perennial patio pots, as well as herb and flower baskets for Mother’s Day which be available shortly before the holiday. Finally, you will also find our very own selection of tomato seedlings (many heirloom and hybrid varieties) in the greenhouse which can be planted in your home garden once the frost season is over. During the winter months, customers can enjoy their lunch in the heated greenhouse space or stop by for one of our winter pancake breakfasts.
Specialty Products & Grocery Items
In addition to our selection of farm fresh produce, baked goods, deli items and prepared foods, the farm stand is also stocked with a full line of local specialty items and grocery staples. These include local milk from Shaw Farm, Barts ice cream, cheese from Shy Brothers Farm and Smith’s Country Cheese, Verrill Farm free range eggs, our own grass fed – Concord raised beef, and an additional wide variety of local breads, cheeses & more!
