Farm to Table for 100 Years
1918 - 2018

100 years ago Amy & Floyd Verrill established their dairy farm on this land with a herd of 30 cows. 2 generations later we continue to celebrate their accomplishments. From putting fresh milk on your table, Verrill Farm has evolved to growing crops from asparagus to (green) zebra tomatoes for tables in Concord and beyond.

We invite you to join us in celebrating our first 100 years at 4 special seasonal events.

Farm to Table for 100 Years Spring: March 24 - Birthday Party
Celebrate & be our guest for ice cream & cake, kid's activities, balloons, prizes, popcorn & coupons & take home a Verrill Farm 100th anniversary reusable shopping bag!

Summer: June 23 - Strawberry Festival
Celebrate the first crop planted at the farm & favorite PYO!

Fall: September 15 - Farm Day
Celebrate farming with demonstrations, food from our kitchen & a Dessert Contest

Winter: December 9
Join Steve, Joan & Jen for a book launch party for their new cookbook - A Farm Grows in Concord - Celebrating 100 Years of Verrill Farm with tastes of recipes from the book!

Annual Harvest Festival & Benefit for Emerson Hospital's Pediatric Care Unit

Fields surrounding the farm stand are transformed into an old-fashioned fair ground.
This fun for all ages benefit event includes:
  • Activities & games
  • Raffle
  • Food
  • PYO Pumpkins
  • Live music by Sandy Ridge Boys
  • Violet the Clown - face painting
  • Lil' Folk Farm - Petting Farm
  • Hayrides & Pony rides
Proceeds from activity, game & raffle tickets, as well as food purchases, go to Emerson Hospital's Pediatric Intervention Team to provide Coping Kits for children at the hospital.
The kits contain items & activities that are used to help children & caregivers cope successfully with the hospital experience.

Friday, October 19, 6 pm
Farm to Table Candlelight Harvest Dinner in our heated, decorated greenhouse.

Verrill Farm chefs prepare a dinner inspired by our own abundant Fall crops
  • Cash bar serving wine & beer
  • Live Music by Jay Ford Duo
  • $55 per person

Visit with Santa

The heated greenhouse will be decorated with trees & lights - a perfect backdrop for Santa's annual visit!

These popular workshops are fun for all ages Farm stand bakers are on hand with decorating tips or just let your imagination take over!

$40.00 fee includes:
  • assembled, undecorated gingerbread house on a 12" cardboard
  • frosting (gingerbread and frosting made in the farm stand kitchen)
  • candy for trim
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Adult comes at no additional charge. Please, only one adult per child.

Holiday Wreath Workshop 101
Tuesday, December 4, 6:00 pm
$40 per person

Decorate a wreath for your own front door or to give away.
$40.00 fee includes
  • one 12" balsam wreath, decorations & pre-made bow
  • tips from our decorating experts

Holiday Wreath Workshop - Advanced
Thursday, December 6, 6:00
$50 per person

More advanced than 101, this class includes instructions for making a bow & choices of materials.
