Looking for a motivated person to join our produce team.

We have been farming for over 100 years! We grow much of the produce we sell seasonally and are looking for someone who has some produce experience to join the team! We grow a wide variety of vegetables on over 100 acres in Concord, Mass. which we sell in our farm stand and to local restaurants. We create a nice selection of prepared foods and baked goods made fresh in our kitchen and feature many locally sourced items and specialty foods from New England in our store.

The best candidate for this job is a good communicator who enjoys people and can be a hands-on manager while having the ability to train others and delegate jobs. Ability to promote teamwork is essential! At least one weekend day is required as is experience working with produce.

Pay is based on experience. Candidate must have some managerial skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• checking in produce daily to ensure quality control and adjust costs to maintain margin
• arranging the produce case in an attractive way, changing displays to align with the season
• prepping and checking quality and maintaining cleanliness of cases and work areas
• supervise and train produce staff
• put away orders, including freezer and some grocery
• checking produce signs for accuracy and changing as needed
• daily ordering of produce

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
